Back from Thailand for over a week now and am somehow still feeling the effects from my sleep schedule to the layers of skin that amazingly continue to peel from sunburn. Thailand was great and the islands were really beautiful. We first were in Bangkok for 3 days, then one night in Phuket, two nights in Koh Lanta and two nights in Koh Phi Phi. The sun was really strong, and the weather was mostly warm and absurdly humid, which my body apparently can no longer withstand and resulted in 10 days of sweating (very attractive) and cankles/swollen feet that actually induced not only embarrassment, but also a fair amount of pain and worry. My feet were swollen for two days after I returned back to Kuwait to the point where I thought I contracted some kind of disease of the foot.
First things first, Kuwait Airlines provided two full meals over the course of my six hour flight, as well as this option for your sleeping infant. Am I the only one who was not aware of this invention?
Bangkok isn't somewhere I'd say anyone HAD to go, but some things I really enjoyed were the coffee (pretty sure it's because they used condensed milk and tasted like a dessert), the temples, the incredibly efficient and immaculate metro, the massages, the food and how cheap everything is.

Koh Lanta is very relaxed. Great food. Beautiful beaches and little towns. Mostly mopeds (some mopeds double as minivans carrying a small family like parents, a toddler and an infant) and few cars. It was a quiet little island with great food.

Ko Phi Phi is the equivalent of frat city USA, but it also the most beautiful island ever! We went rock climbing, snorkeling, saw monkeys and sharks, laid out and ate and ate, and ate delish Thai food.

After a great relaxing trip. I came back to Kuwait for the second half of my trip! Just in time for National Day and Liberation Day celebrations!
